Acrilico su carta, utilizzando a volte tessuti sintetici, oppure alimenti come il radicchio che arricchiscono le immagini liquide. Le linee di colore (principalmente il rosso e il blu) scendono come gocce lungo la pagina, proprio come le gocce nel fondo di caffè (turco-greco). Si tenta di produrre immagini dal mondo della Caffeomanzia che è un’arte divinatoria di origine mesopotamica diffusa durante l’espansione dell’Impero Ottomano dapprima nei Balcani e poi in Europa. Gli acquerelli sono ispirati a questa pratica che consiste nella lettura delle immagini che vengono fuori dal processo naturale del movimento delle gocce di caffè all’interno della tazza dove si beve. Oltre l’acqua, per diluire è stata usata la grappa, il vino o la birra per una miscela dal sentore alcolico.

Acrylic on paper, sometimes using synthetic fabrics, or foods such as red chicory that enrich the liquid images. The lines of color (predominantly red and blue) fall like drops across the page, as the drops into the bottom of turkish coffee. It tries to produce images from Caffeomanzia, that it is an art of divination of Mesopotamian origins during the Ottoman Empire’s expansion, first in the Balkans and then in Europe.  The watercolors are inspired by this practice which consists in reading the images that come out of the natural process of movement of the drops of coffee inside the cup where you drink. To dilute it was used the brandy, wine or beer for a mixture of odor of alcohol.
